PRE/POST TREATMENT CARE

For the best results, it’s essential to follow both pre-treatment and aftercare instructions for each service. Preparing your skin, lashes, and brows beforehand can enhance results, while proper aftercare helps maintain them for as long as possible.

Please inform the studio and your artist of any allergies, skin conditions, or medications you are taking prior to your appointment, as these can impact your treatment and results.

Waxing

Pre-Treatment:

  • Inform Your Artist of Allergies & Medications: Certain medications (such as Accutane, retinoids, or antibiotics) can make skin more sensitive and prone to irritation.

  • Exfoliate 24 Hours Before: Gently exfoliate the area with a mild scrub or exfoliating mitt to remove dead skin cells and help prevent ingrown hairs.

  • Let the Hair Grow: Hair should be at least ¼ inch long (about the size of a grain of rice) for the wax to grip properly. Avoid shaving for at least two weeks before your appointment.

  • Avoid Caffeine & Alcohol: These can increase skin sensitivity, so try to avoid them on the day of your wax.

  • Wear Loose Clothing: Tight clothing can cause irritation after waxing, especially for body areas.

  • No Moisturizers or Oils: Keep the skin clean and free of lotions, oils, or self-tanners before your wax.

Aftercare:

  • Avoid Sun Exposure: No direct sun or tanning beds for 24-48 hours. Always apply SPF if sun exposure is unavoidable.

  • Skip Harsh Products: No exfoliants, acids, retinol, or perfumed products for 48 hours.

  • No Hot Baths or Showers: Stick to lukewarm water and avoid saunas or hot tubs.

  • Avoid Touching the Area: This prevents bacteria transfer and irritation.

  • Avoid Sweating & Exercise: Give your skin at least 24 hours to calm down.

  • Exfoliate 2-3 Times a Week (After 48 Hours): This helps prevent ingrown hairs and keeps skin smooth.

Brow Lamination + Lash Lift

Pre-Treatment:

  • Inform Your Artist of Allergies & Medications: If you have any sensitivities to lash glue, tint, or perming solutions, let your artist know beforehand.

  • Arrive With Clean, Makeup-Free Brows & Lashes: No mascara, brow gel, or oily skincare before your appointment.

  • Avoid Waterproof Mascara for 48 Hours Before: It can create a residue that affects the lifting process.

  • Skip Oils & Serums: Oil-based products can interfere with the lamination/lift.

  • No Lash Curlers or Tinting Before the Appointment: Let your natural lashes be in their normal state for best results.

Aftercare:

  • Avoid Water & Steam for 24-48 Hours: Keep brows and lashes completely dry.

  • No Oil-Based Products: Use only water-based skincare around the area.

  • Avoid Makeup for 24 Hours: No mascara, brow gels, or powders.

  • Be Gentle: No rubbing, tugging, or sleeping face-down.

  • Brush Daily: Use a clean spoolie to keep brows and lashes looking fresh.

  • Use a Nourishing Serum: Hydrates and strengthens brows/lashes.

  • Schedule Touch-Ups Every 6-8 Weeks: To maintain results.

Infrared Sauna

Pre-Treatment:

  • Inform Your Artist of Any Medical Conditions or Medications: Certain medications and health conditions (such as pregnancy, high blood pressure, or heart conditions) may affect your ability to safely use the sauna.

  • Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water before your session.

  • Avoid Heavy Meals: Eat something light before but avoid large meals.

  • Wear Light, Loose Clothing: Or bring a swimsuit.

  • Remove Makeup & Lotions: Allow your skin to breathe.

Aftercare:

  • Rehydrate: Drink plenty of water to replenish lost fluids.

  • Shower with Lukewarm Water: Avoid hot showers immediately after to let your body cool naturally.
